My tiny hanging sculpture ‘My Brother, My Mother’ 2023 in cast pewter, cord and glass beads is selected for the ‘IN MEMORY OF’ exhibition in the dollhouse of The House of Smalls curated by Amy Oliver.

~ A show for artworks made in remembrance of someone lost/left. Not all memories are loving.

‘My Brother, My Mother’ – Pewter, cord, glass beads – 14cm x 3cm x 1cm

End of May, end of July – 2023. One of relative youth, one of relative memory. Each a shock in different ways, each a loss. Both loved, here both remembered.

Barely two months apart with a ripple in my life and for those in my family, and as I struggle with expressing in words, I’m grateful to be able to show something in my way that represents their bond and mutual passing. May you be in peace .. I love you both.

Thanks to Amy Oliver and The House of Smalls that shares with a big heart.

In Memory Of is The House of Smalls Chipping Campden Gallery’s fifth show and exhibits the work of 75 artists in both the dollhouse and main space.

The words and language used in profiles are as provided by the artists – it’s important to me that work is portrayed as intended and that what artists want to say about themselves, their work and practice – however much or little and in whatever form – is said.

If you’re interested in purchasing/discussing any of the artwork please contact me. A 10% commission is applied to individual sales of £300 and above which is utilised towards the upkeep of the gallery.
