Are you an artist thinking about developing artworks involving tech for the first time? Or maybe you’ve already started on this journey and encountered problems along the way? Or perhaps you’ve been successful and are looking to hone your approach? Whatever your experience, this workshop is designed to guide participants through the steps to consider when planning an arts project involving creative technologies.

It’s particularly aimed at people in the early stages of planning a project who intend to submit a funding application. We’ll cover an overview of key considerations when planning your project including:

  • Setting clear parameters
  • Considering the audience experience.
  • Risk management
  • Putting together an appropriate timeline and budget
  • Common traps to avoid!
  • Types of funding available

This workshop is suitable for artists and creatives of all levels of experience who are developing arts projects. Led by Collusion’s Rachel Drury, tickets are £6. This workshop is part of Collusion’s ART // TECH // PLAY programme and network that supports artists and creatives to develop their skills around creative technologies in a practice-led way.
