The Sketch A Day Project began on the 1st January 2014, when Artist and Illustrator Jane Moore decided to keep a journal of sketches as a New Year’s Resolution. Since then she has been recording observations, thoughts and ideas in a collection of trusty Moleskine sketchbooks.
To celebrate the project’s first year, all 365 pieces will be exhibited at the innovative arts and music space Shapes in Hackney Wick London, from the 22nd to 28th of January.
On Thursday 22nd January from 6pm, the doors will open for the press and public to step inside the wonderful world of the Sketch A Day. There will be an evening of live music from Classical to Spanish Guitar!
On Saturday 24th January, the Sketch A Day Project is collaborating with Love is the Law to host a live performance day, celebrating visual arts, poetry and live music together.
