Royal College of Art Graduating Printmaking Students present
WHAT WAS I THINKING – a look back at the thinking behind work in the degree show. In a series of short talks, performative readings and screenings we look at the broader issues that have influenced our work. Discussions will include responses to new perspectives we encounter via the screen, evoking and disrupting space though sound and language, image saturation and how the artist navigates the proliferation of choices available. There will be tour of the degree show at 3.30pm followed by an invitation to drinks in the studios. Our guest speaker David Cross will add insight to these discussions from his own perspective which holds a belief that a key function of contemporary art is to test concepts, assumptions and boundaries. He is also a keen advocate of sustainability.
