I really enjoyed creating these works, they were a lot more palyful… I just went with ideas and tried not to be too hung up on the weight of art history and critical theory that can be applied (A side […]
New works…..
I am learning to embrace the diversity of my practice… I used to want to find a certain type of work that I could stick to… I never wanted to make art that just went on and on, never changing, […]
Guardian Culture Professionals recently hosted a live chat on the subject of selling art. Art world figures were joined by artists, collectors and creative entrepreneurs to discuss the role of gallerist as negotiator, the Internet versus face-to-face sales and ways to make it easier to start a collection.

I have been thinking this week about studio spaces. That precious piece of the world that exists just for an artist, our own little hovel of self doubt, self expression and self absorption. Our brain outside our brain. I have […]
Well the start of the Easter break has been really quite good so far. I discovered on Friday afternoon that my application to exhibit my work in Gallery North – the professional gallery based within Northumbria University -during the degree […]

Another day in the life of josh.
Another review of work earlier on this year. This piece was another layered spraypaint image which had been inspired by the works of Snik. I was going to make this piece about the angel who let the sun scorch people […]
