Lyn's work investigates areas of a more metaphysical and intangible nature but still rooted in the real world, memories - personal and collective, history, and most importantly things that are elusive, obscured in some way or just outside our sphere of understanding. She is interested in all forms of art practice, allowing the subject matter to dictate the medium rather than specialising in one area. Throughout her work, though, there is a continuing concern with process.
