Here is an example of the short snippets of wisdom from Confucius that have inspired the maxim structure idea. It is not so much the actual content so as the form that I see something useful for me to draw upon right now. With this example I would probably want, for my purposes, to edit it to “The small man echoes without being in agreement” The more open ended the better and I should be able to use each character as a cue.
