A London-based Sculptor working with a range of media including, site-specific installation, photography text, film, performance, and found object, to investigate the trace of history in the built environment, legacy, sense of place identity and loss. Napier creates objects, spaces and experiences adrift from real and fictional realms, which are tethered by the audience’s imagination. The architecture of spaces, and their effects on the people who interact with them is a particular inspiration. Focusing on the character of ‘the outsider’, and the division / intersection of public space and private space, as a vessel for storytelling.
