Lucy Day

Lucy Day is is Director of A Woman’s Place Project CIC and a curator with many years experience of developing exhibitions in private, public and artist-led spaces. She trained and practised as an artist, graduating from Norwich School of Art in 1989 before working for SPACE Studios for five years, leaving in 2005 as Director of Arts Training and Resources and Co-Director of Exhibitions. Alongside her curating career, Day has supported artists and arts organisers through mentoring, workshops and organisational change. She has worked with a-n since 2010, advising on, and co-ordinating, their professional development events programme, and leads the Navigating the Art World and What’s It Worth workshops. She also regularly works with Artquest and recently advised 11 of the artists exhibiting in 2016 Bloomberg New Contemporaries.Day is a commissioned writer on visual arts practice and exhibitions, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and a Clore Leadership short course alumnus (Clore50, 2017). www.lucyday.co.uk and www.dayandgluckman.co.uk
