Testing Ground is Yorkshire Artspaces’s residency programme at Exchange Place Studios, providing a supported and intensive period of creative experimentation for an artist based in Sheffield. I am delighted to be their 2025 artist in residence.
Set up in 2007 by artists’ studio providers to establish links between studios, the membership body had been operated on a voluntary basis since 2012 when it lost its Arts Council England funding.
