Emboldened blooms bat their lashes, catching attention like feathers on a hat. They’re closest to the sky, and expand across their space, stretching and growing, delighting in glorious sunshine.
They also have another purpose, they’re challenging you to see what’s beyond the gate they’re protecting. Will you go through or stay amongst the beauty you know?

Delightfully bobbing heads preen and chatter, toasting their colourful exuberance with matching multi-coloured bubbles. They know how they dazzle, and whenever they see someone else notice, their bright smiles become brightness personified.

In thirty days where lots of people’s lives have taken twists, turns and summersaults (including mine), I’m delighted to have created these tiny colourful canvas paintings.
Adding to my Beautiful Blooms Collection, these paintings were created using collage as a base layer and then painting in acrylic using a palette knife. The combination of the collage and palette knife painting forms an imaginative extra-textured effect that draws your eye into all the nooks and crannies, as the paint seems to magically settle in.
Painting them in groups so they form cohesive images in sections, I wanted to produce beautiful mini-paintings that would suit pockets, wallets and purses of all sizes – affordable art at it’s most literal!. They’re all £15 (plus delivery) each which includes a wooden display easel and can be purchased individually, or you can truly treat yourself and buy a whole section ;)

Pale pink petals froth and flutter as these blooms shake themselves to reveal their true beauty. Deceased appendages discarded, they can truly dazzle their beholder with freshly coiffured-locks.
