Gog and Magog

I met a bloke on the golf course today who asked me if I had been intimadated by a tatooed man living in the Club House?

Now you mention it, a tatooed man in a 4X4 did tell me to F*** **F I said. It turns out this tatooed man is not a temporary caretacker as I thought. But rather just a bloke who has bought the Club House and is living there, with a ‘GET OFF MY LAND’ type off attitude. My new friend told me not to be intimadated by this guy, as he can’t stop people walking on marked footpaths even if they do go past his house……etc etc. He was going to pull a few strings and have the police over here if the tatooed man carries on threatening peole with his dogs and that. If I personally found myself in a row with the tatooed man or his dog I was to contact him, and his friends on the force would sort it out…he has no right to behave like that…… ‘Be sure to mention my name when you contact the police’!

I walked on thinking was this guy really trying to recruit a resistance force to oppose the attitude of the tatooed man, or was he a beliver of his own fiction, if you know what I mean. And because I’m silly enough to talk with him for 15 minutes does he think I’m the first recruit in his resistance force?

Two Crows

I walked around looking to see if my seeds had started to grow. No: I was probably too eager. The noise from the dual carridgeway was not so prominent and I was listening to birdsong. Cosmo also flushed a Heron out from the swamp, big birds they are.

I found a canister of what I call ‘upsidedown paint’ laying under some hedge (trade name easyline) and it still had a bit left in the bottom. I was walking about shaking it playing rythyms with the ball bearing inside mixing the paint as I was looking for somewhere to draw….’I know on the next putting green I walk over’. Next to the target was a tree with two crows sitting in it.

Perfect.

Wild Flowers

I bought a few packets of wild flower seeds…..I thought I would plant them in the shape of those rings that someone on a motor bike had made. They had done this on one of the greens which left these nice rings. Not unlike the olympic logo.

I took my motar joint smoothing tool with me, which is the best seed planting tool I had.

And I filled in a hole (you know one that should have a flag in) with soil and finished off the seed packet in that.

I still have some poppy seeds left and some woodland flowers for another time.
