Today we took some of the panels round the corner to the wall where they will be installed. We have enough ply wood to cover the first 3 sections of wall (pictured), right to the roof.

We are thinking the pieces look better jumbled up, as the five ‘petal’ design we have been working with is maybe too much like a 70’s tile, too much like a flower. Folke also had the idea to put a couple of empty panels strips along the bottom, so the wax has space to run onto, and now we are thinking to scatter empty panels into the whole mural but with more at the bottom. I would like some of the panels towards the third wall to be left empty altogether, so that squares of the graffiti can be seen, and the mural fades out into the wall behind. We can test these ideas during the installation.
