The show takes the form of a small retrospective showing a selection of current and earlier sculptures and drawings in a variety of materials including bronze, stone, wood and paper. Some of the work is influenced by a curiosity about theoretical physics and other bronze sculptures were developed for an exhibition at The Museum of Somerset as a response to Bronze Age artefacts held in the Heritage Stores.

He has recently won the Wilson Award in ‘The Open West’, Cheltenham and is a prizewinner in ‘Wells Art Contemporary’. He is an Academician of the Royal West of England Academy and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Sculptors. He has work in various national and international collections including Arts Council England and The Royal Collection.

He agrees with the physicist, Richard Feynman, when he referred to the inadequacy of science to capture the marvel of our universe and for the need for art to help bridge the gap between the tangible and intangible.
