This full day workshop aims to help you identify what success really means to you as an artist, appreciate your strengths and challenge your weaknesses, then develop a plan to accomplish your aims whilst increasing your ability to ‘stick with it’.

During the day participants will cover personal management, attitude, pricing, presentation and marketing as well as working on a method of ensuring you create the best work you can.

Julian Sutherland-Beatson is a professional painter living and working in Eastbourne. He has work in the House of Lords permanent collection, has exhibited during the Glyndebourne season for the past 8 years and has been accepted at The Royal Academy Summer Exhibition on three occasions. He exhibits at a number of commercial galleries and also sells work online. All by applying the material you’ll find on this workshop.

The workshop is for a maximum of 8 people and is suitable for artists at all levels of development, particularly those who wish to develop work to sell. It is also appropriate for those in other creative areas such as writing, performance, etc.
