September sees the long-awaited return to Norwich of the Cambridge-based STRAY Group of Artists. The group will be exhibiting a vast and diverse range of new artwork at The Undercroft Gallery next to the city’s market square. Their exciting show kicks off with a public launch party on Friday 13 September from 6-8pm with the exhibition running to 28 September.

Building on their success at The Undercroft Gallery in 2016, guest curator Sue Law delights in hinting at the bigger and better show she has planned. “I loved the way the renowned Norwich artist Gennadiy Ivanov curated our last show and he will be exhibiting his work again this year. The range of work planned is both dynamic and fully engaging. Artists featured include specialists in sculpture, textile art, painting, print and public interactive artworks – it really will be visually spectacular as well as a lots of fun”.  One member of STRAY is working on a Kimono Catwalk Show; an extravaganza of colour, with billowing hand-emblazoned textiles – drama and the ‘WOW’ factor guaranteed. This exhibition promises some surprises as well as being a treasure-trove of artwork rarely seen displayed together in one place.

Artists: Rose Catling, Kato Catling, Manuela Hubner, Gannadiy Ivanov, Sue Law, Alison Litherland, Judy Logan, Jill Ogilvy, Susie Olczak, Nicola Powys, Deanna Tyson, Cheryl Warren.

The exhibition runs from 14-28 September open from 11.00am – 5.00pm (Closed Sundays).

Public launch 13th Sept from 6.00 – 8.00pm. ALL WELCOME.

Drawing workshop: Sat 14 Sept at 2.30pm

Kimono Catwalk: Sat 21 Sept at 2.30pm

The Undercroft Gallery is beneath the Memorial Gardens by the market in the centre of Norwich and has disabled access. Look out for STRAY AWAY banners near the entrance at the back of the market.
