Part of CEO’s series of Networking events, it will place artists and professionals with experience in internships and volunteering together, to discuss the validities of taking time out of paid work, to put time in to building futures.

With a rise in focus on issues around the balancing of paid work and volunteering plus the apparent necessity of graduates taking unpaid opportunities to boost future employability, events such as this are pertinent in exploring the effectiveness of pathways from experience to paid positions in the creative sector.

Stills has a track record of internship opportunities offering Scottish-based graduates from Fine Art and related courses experience in gallery events, programming and education.

Chaired by Carol Sinclair, CEO’s Edinburgh & East Central Adviser, the event will also feature a representative of HMRC and other case study speakers. Discussions will be drawn together at the end of the event, with the opportunity for further questions, sharing of knowledge and networking.
