Artists and employers of artists are being asked to assist with research into participatory art by completing an online survey. Part of Artworks’ Navigator project, the survey follows two recent round-table discussions and is designed to test with a wider group the findings of those events.

The short survey, which will close on 14 January 2013, forms part of a joint a-n, Artquest and engage consultation. Navigator is aimed at those involved in visual arts projects with people. It works with artists, employers of artists, government, higher education institutions and training providers to devise and deliver support and give a collective voice to participatory artists.

There are 11 questions in the survey, which should take around 15 minutes to complete. All information provided will be used anonymously and the findings will be shared through an online report.

The results of the research will be used to help inform how artists and employers of artists might better partner on visual arts projects with people, and what resources might support this work.
