Asco: No Movies, Nottingham Contemporary, Nottingham
Formed in the early 1970s in LA by four Chicano artists, the collaborative group Asco were renowned for their outrageous street performances that responded to the fraught political environment of the time. Their actions were made without notice or permission, often at sites where a violent incident had previously occurred. This retrospective also features new video and performance work.

All That Is Solid Melts Into Air, Manchester Art Gallery, Manchester
This touring exhibition curated by Jeremy Deller explores the impact of the Industrial Revolution on British popular culture, and its continued influence on our lives today.
