Glasgow-based web service Art Tokens are calling for responses to its online survey: How can artists weather the recession?
The survey asks artists to share their survival tactics, and invites suggestions as to what local authorities can do to further support artists through this difficult financial climate.
A show of support and rallying call to let artists know they are not alone, Art Tokens also hopes the results will help publicly-funded organisations understand the real impact of the recession on artists’ income, and make the point that the arts are a vital part of the local economy.
