I am a visual artist and I draw my inspiration from the constant possibilities of painting and the challenge of its unpredictable nature in conveying a subject. I have delivered a number of public and private painting commissions, including for a client featured on Channel 4’s Grand Designs television programme in 2013, where I was filmed by them on the Yorkshire moors painting a preliminary piece. I then produced a large bespoke painting inspired by the Bronte sisters literature for their living area. My work is also in public and private collections around the UK and in Europe. In the summer of 2018 I had two paintings selected for the prestigious BEEP International Painting Prize, Swansea, Wales. I currently teach Life Drawing and Mindful Drawing adult workshops independently and at Millennium Galleries, Sheffield. One of my paintings is also featured in the book 'WOMEN: Inspiring quotes & artistic responses' (Volume 2, pages 70 & 71,Wild House Publishing) www.womenartbook.com For enquiries please contact me via my website: www.donnabrewinscook.com Sheffield
