Argues that as well as the skills and knowledge required specifically for achieving high quality child focused creative practice, artist pedagogues need to know and understand both the world of the child and the particular situation of looked after children. Suggests there is need for creative agencies to develop a Code of Practice for their work with looked after children and other children.
