Intended to inform HE strategies to improve the match between supply and demand for CPD for arts and design practitioners. This now historical document, published in 2001, assessed the provision made within higher education for meeting the needs of professional workers in the creative industries for CPD; the potential demand for such opportunities; and made recommendations for improving the match between supply and demand. Concluded that existing good practice existed largely in dispersed pockets, and overall it was poorly matched to current and foreseeable needs for structured support for personal and professional development.
