Starting from the position that 47% of creative workers are freelance (against 15% in other sectors) this report calls on government to take creative freelancers into account when designing policy. Makes recommendations specific to the sector, such as the need to protects workspace from residential development, a benefits system that understands the ebb and flow of creative work, and a visa system that does not discourage cross-border travel for work purposes.
