TAP was set up to deal with the professional development of both artists and teachers, who then became action researchers in the classroom. Artists and teachers place themselves in regard to theoretical models, and at the same time investigate firsthand different pedagogical and art practice approaches. Written in two parts by TAP founder Anna Ledgard, and evaluator David Jenkins, this paper is usefully seen as a professional development model for artist-educators.
