Revisits two projects that had impacts for women: Postal Art Event 1975–7 and London/LA Lab 1981. The Postal Art Event connected women in different cities, towns and villages in England through the mailed exchange of artworks, and extended to include numerous exhibitions in different UK cities. London/LA Lab brought together artists based in London and Los Angeles. Useful and still relevant discussion of a feminised understanding of art, the different pressures women face as artists, and the importance of collaboration and space for women to represent themselves.
