Short and readable document that calls for “a brave approach” on collections management, recognising that many are not of sufficient quality across a range of areas; or made sufficiently accessible or relevant to the public. Perhaps most controversially, recommends that the sector “should consider more radical approaches to the disposal of collections in order to help secure the long-term future of the organisation’s core collections”.
