Written after the fourth iteration of Wales’ present at the Venice Biennale, it concludes that: 1. the project profile has grown and developed, and that it has had a significant impact on Wales’ international profile. 2. there are a range of concerns regarding the selection of participating artists 3. participation makes a big difference to artists’ work, aspirations, creative ideas and career development opportunities. 4. Wales in Venice should continue to be funded.
