A starfish, bryozoa, sea grass. Lines do not connect, graphite traces describe little of what was seen but leaves an impression on the slate. The physical act of holding steady and drawing, mostly without taking my eyes from the subject. Drawings made while hovering in water, maintaining buoyancy several metres above the sea bed, many more below the surface.
