Pelagic Sculpture Project, Shetland

A 10 week residency on Shetland as the first phase of a commission to make a site specific artwork for Lerwick harbour front, commissioned by the Pelagic Sculpture Partnership in association with Shetland Arts.

Day 36

Workshop at the Shetland college with a group of adults with learning difficulties, we made plaster casts of found ‘sea+fishing’ objects.
Demonstrating making an impression into the clay of a piece of knotted fishing nets.
