Join us for this fun, step-by-step pottery painting workshop and create your very own impressionistic semi-abstract floral jug, with crystal glaze detail. This workshop is tailored for absolute beginners and you’ll end up with a finished piece that The Little Arts Workshop will professionally glaze and kiln fire for you.

The price includes step by step art instruction, a straight-sided jug or vase, glazes and specialist crystal glaze, use of paint equipment, expert firing and refreshments.

If you would like to learn how to paint a portrait in oils in a direct, lively, expressive way then this workshop is for you.

Jo Sinclair is an experienced portrait artist and teacher. Jo will take you through the different stages of mapping out a portrait, applying tone and form, mixing oil colour and using mediums in a simple to understand way.

All materials, including a photographic portrait will be provided. Only low odour thinners will be used.

This workshop is completely suitable for beginners as Jo will show you how to get started with oils and progress through the stages of a portrait.

This event is tailored for absolute beginners and you’ll end up with a finished painting that you can take home with you.
