I have my tubes! After a horrible moment when only one small package turned up on the delivery van – for some reason the big pallet had been sent via a different courier – by 4.30 I had no room to move in my house.

Just the fun bit now – to drill all 120 and sew on the metal springs. Hurrah!

Waited in. Tubes apparently not loaded onto delivery van due to accident. Will have to wait in again tomorrow. One working day inwhich to drill them all. Drill charged and ready – it will be a long night.

I fear this is the calm before the storm…

In the absence of a photographic documentation of perspex tubes to drill (120 by next week – still not arrived). Here is a picture of my cute kittens.

I wrote my press release today. Funny how long it takes to get everything to fit onto the page – I spent more time on making it look good and fit than the content!

I have planned a private view event with storytelling as it is mainly for the participants who are all children. So my second job was to make an interesting looking invitation to get their parents to bring them along. I am worried that a) no-one will come or b) too many will come to be able to hear the storyteller. I just hope we have no technical hitches or I will have to run off to the shops for a massive bag of emergency torches.
