Typically my resolution to write something regularly got off to a false start. However, I’ll make the excuse that it’s because I’ve been busy doing since I last posted.

I’ve been setting up the exhibitions Telling Tales: Story scrolls from India, on loan from National Museums Liverpool, and Michael Craig-Martin’s Alphabet – a show of fantastic prints on loan to us from Hayward Touring at the Southbank Centre.

Then on Friday I was hosting a craft fair in the gallery – an experiment for us, but well received by participants and visitors.

Our mural for the town has now been installed. Follow this link to see the image and its creation. Once the scaffolding comes down there will be more pictures. http://www.oneredshoe.co.uk/runcornmural.html

Have to dash off to a meeting now, but more posts will follow.

At 7pm tonight, we have the end of exhibition talk for Slow Turning, a beautiful exhibition featuring ceramic sculpture by Liz Ellis, paintings and drawings by Wendy Dison and the background story to their collaboration. If I can find a way to attach a pdf to the blog I will!

We also have a screening of Charlie Noades R.I.P, a home grown film written and starring Neil Fitzmaurice. Members of the cast and crew are coming to the screening tonight for a Q & A after the show.
