These artists have come together over the period of a year, travelling from various points between Cornwall and London, for this opportunity to develop their ideas and practice in a group context. This diverse group of personalities and approaches has created a fertile environment which has enabled each artist to expand in new directions. The show, at the Penwith Gallery in the heart of St. Ives, is the culmination of the exciting work generated by these artists. The general focus of the work is on the experimental, risk-taking, and openness to contemporary ideas.
