Summer Art Trail 2015
Summer Art Trail is a journey between places around Leicester. Exhibitions and events will be held across the city celebrating visual art, film, photography, installation, spoken word and music. The Trail is held in different venues within walking distance of each other and this year is included as part of City Festival 2015.
Summer Art Trail highlights art organisations within Leicester, whilst supporting the local community, small independent businesses and showcasing local, national and international artists.
Summer Art Trail was devised and organised by Silver Vine Arts , a non-profit, artist led collective whose mission is to enhance and highlight the arts within Leicester. Silver Vine Arts’ main activities include: setting up galleries in unexpected areas, hosting internships, organising placements and helping to train graduates; enabling them to secure paid employment.

We’re offering a limited number of volunteer opportunities this year during the Summer Art Trail, so of you’re reliable, committed to the arts, interested in gaining experience in Stewarding, Hospitality and Invigilating exhibitions and have some spare time during August 22nd and 30th, then please email [email protected] with a little bit about yourself and why you’d like to volunteer.
