The London Group has today revealed details of the 70 artist members who will be showing in the 82nd London Group Open. The exhibition is dedicated to Albert Irvin RA, the painter, printmaker and longstanding London Group member who died earlier this year.

Work by a further 70 non-members, selected from an open call which closes on 24 August, will also feature in the exhibition and will be announced in early September.

The list of members who will be exhibiting includes: Moich Abrahams, Bryan Benge, Frank Bowling, Paul and Laura Carey, Anthony Eyton, Charlotte C. Mortensson, Anthony Whishaw and Arthur Wilson.

Set up in 1913 by Wyndham Lewis and Jacop Epstein, amongst others, the London Group can boast some of the UK’s best-known artists as past members, including David Hockney, Barbara Hepworth and Henry Moore.

The group continues to support the careers of both emerging and established British artists, many of whom are taking part in the open exhibition this year.

Work will displayed across two exhibitions at The Cello Factory, London from 13-23 October and 27 October – 6 November 2015.
