The Bermondsey Art Trail returns this Saturday, navigating a route centred around Bermondsey Street that highlights the variety of art activity from Eames Fine Art Gallery, Vitrine Gallery and The Drawing Room to artist-led Balin House Projects, which is situated in a former council estate flat.

Cecilia Brunson Projects present an exhibtion of video and site-specific works by Venezuelan-born artist Lucia Pizzani, including a sculptural wall installation influenced by conservation biology, gender politics of the scientific workplace and fungal spore reproduction.

Initiated by Bermondsey Street Area Partnership, visitors to the Art Trail can download a map online. For those wanting additional behind the scenes insights, two tours set off from Tanner & Co at 10.30am and 11.30am.

Other events over the course of the day include glassblowing demonstrations by the team at Peter Layton’s London Glassblowing Studio and Gallery, a 1pm film screening at Shortwave Cinema and closing party with live music and DJs at Underdog Gallery.
