Footprint Modulation: art, climate & displacement
Taking place over several venues including The Oriental Museum, Durham Art Gallery and Durham Miners Hall, Footprint Modulation features a number of artworks and interventions that address climate change and displacement. Artist Kooj Chuhan‘s interactive installation takes inspiration from global activism and trade unionism, whilst photographer Shahidul Alam documents climate refugees from Bangladesh.

Speculations: Making Thinking Drawing
Archival material is exhibited alongside the work of contemporary artists in this exhibition that explores space, form and structure in drawing. This is the inaugural exhibition for ‘drawing?’ – a year-long programme of exhibitions and events taking place throughout the North East.

Sofltly Overrripe
Lulu Nunn, director of HOAX, curates this exhibition at Southampton’s HaHa Gallery, bringing together artists who explore systems of writing and mark forming through a range of media. Tim Etchells, Jayson Carter and Claire Poulter are among the 10 artists exhibiting.

A Vernacular History Starting With The Golden Rhubarb
Candida Powell-Williams’ site-specific installation explores the fetishisation of artefacts that the artist encountered in Rome. Her sculptural renditions of these objects create new narratives and parallel readings to those officially offered up to tourists.
