Brute
This exhibition of works by Ian Parker and Srinivas Surti explores abstraction and the distortion of source materials. Parker reconfigures aerial images from bomb sites and portraits of male criminals, comedians and other characters. Surti’s brutalism is inspired by the signifiers and visual language of branding and retail architecture.
6 February – 28 February 2015, ARTHOUSE1, Bermondsey, London SE1.
