Chris Dobrowolski, & Model, Leeds
Imagine you could take all your wacky fantasies and turn them into an art exhibition. Well Chris Dobrowolski, who amongst other things has been a visiting artist at the British Antarctic Survey, has done just that. This intriguing show features sculptural work spanning the last 15 years, comprising a complex combination of storytelling, object making and performance.

I’m Beautiful Now, Radiant Space, Plymouth
This exhibition features work by five artists – Rich White, Ferran Verges, Mike Cobb, Nicole Tilley and Hayley Harrison – who were selected from an open call by a group of young female carers aged between 10 and 14. Arts company Effervescent and Barnardo’s worked for two months with the nine girls, many of whom are responsible for their parents, brothers and sisters. Selecting works to reflect their feelings, the results are spellbinding.

Andy Warhol, Tate Liverpool, Liverpool
This mammoth exhibition features more than 100 artworks by one of the most celebrated artists of the 20th century. It explores how Warhol embraced the mass mediums of his time – publishing, film, music, and broadcast – to communicate his ideas and imagery to as many people as possible.

Stan Douglas, Fruitmarket Gallery, Edinburgh
This show features a selection of Canadian artist Stan Douglas’s film and photography work, ranging from his popular 16mm black and white film-installation Der Sandmann (1995) to the just-completed The Second Hotel Vancouver, shown here for the first time in the UK. Recurring themes in Douglas’s work include investigations into mistaken identity and unstable memories.

William Hogarth, Tate Britain, London
Marking the 250th anniversary of William Hogarth’s death, this exhibition features some of his best known works plus more obscure pieces loaned from other institutions. An opportunity to explore Georgian society through its most famous satirist, the show includes paintings, chalk drawings and prints.
