The Reliquary Project
This exhibition is the culmination of Jo Dacombe’s residency and work within the Bone Laboratory at the University of Leicester’s School of Archaeology and Ancient History. Considering bones as relics, Dacombe has created a series of works using a range of techniques, from sculpture to scans and x-rays.

Fragments and Traces (1): l’invitation au voyage

Alternative Nature
UK and international artists exhibit works in a range of media that consider the theme of ‘alternative nature’. Part of the larger Congleton Contemporary Arts Weekend, which also sees 12 artists display work in unusual locations throughout the town centre.

Works from the landscape

Imagine
Inspired by social and civil rights activist Vincent Harding’s work enabling young people to imagine different futures for themselves, Tessa Waite and Ruth Gibbs convene a day set to inspire ‘deep change’. Educator Liz Buckler, mental health nurse Neil Bovingdon and storyteller Marion Oughton share examples and philosophies that they use or have encountered through their work.
