Focusing on arts role in promoting wellbeing this is a sincere document based on empirical research and fieldwork with participants in a wide range of art activity who live in a poor area of deprivation in Liverpool. “It’s a story about wellbeing and the role that art can play in sustaining it, a story told through the voices of those who are best able to tell it.” Organised into themes such as friendship, active living, paying attention, being noticed, learning, and contributing. The second part maps a range of activity, connections and organisations in North Liverpool.
