Five recommended shows from across the UK, including: Polly Apfelbaum’s large-scale site-specific works at Ikon, Birmingham, a new film by Ulla von Brandenburg at Whitechapel Gallery, London, and works by three collaborative duos in Inverness.
The winner of the annual award for fine art graduates from the South East region will receive a professional development and mentoring package,plus a bursary of £2,500.
A selection of exhibition highlights for the week ahead including: Lucinda Rogers’ drawing at the House of Illustration, London; Mary Reid Kelley and Patrick Kelley’s films at Tate Liverpool; and Megan Rooney’s domestic trauma at Tramway, Glasgow.
