I am proud to present my latest installation, Botanical Structures IV, the fourth iteration of the body of work I developed in residence at Guldagergård International Ceramic Research Centre in summer 2013 and produced during a second residency in spring this year, and the focal point of this Danish-British project that has been happening most of this year. This is the last piece of the jigsaw and will complete the project (from the Arts Council of England’s point of view, who funded the project).

It took two days of frenzied installing confined within the opening hours of the library, but I finished it just on time, 15 minutes before the official opening at 16.00 on Thursday 11th September! The opening was a success, with attendance by various directors of the ceramic events for the Biennial, collectors who expressed much interest (shame I ran out of  time to get the price list ready in time for the opening as well!) and lots of ceramic artists as well as members of the public.

The installation will be up for a month, until 4th October, and is at Rønne Library, 1 Pingels Allé, Rønne, Bornholm https://bibliotek.brk.dk and is part of European Ceramic Context 2014 http://www.europeanceramiccontext.com

Opening hours Monday – Friday 9.30-17.00, Saturday 9.30 – 14.00, Sunday closed
