when creating my film work I really wanted to focus on what I wanted to convey when creating the work. through filming and displaying the work it became clear that my theme could no longer be categorized as just movement, but challenging the preconceived ideas we have that goes into how we view movements of the everyday and challenge the way that we see them. To do this I have been filming from various different angles using cameras and go pros to film from different focal points on the body to show views of movement that we wouldn’t normally see/think about.
Final year- Exploring the abstract view of movement
I am a third year fine art student that works in photography and film. I am interested in the concept in movement and challenging the way in which it is perceived.
