South Wales art collective B I T are opening artist studios in East Cardiff very soon, all money has changed hands and we are halfway through a wood sponsorship for dividing walls.
The Studios are aimed for recent graduates, so they are affordable, open plan and importantly, safe. They will house approximately 8 artists and will feature monthly crittorial sessions, and termly exhibitions of the studio holders. Although the space opens November, there are already projects as part of ‘Cardiff Contemporary’ underway for the first year of B I T STUDIOS. A couple to tantalise the eyes are a Graduate Residency Scheme and Market events.
