For this performance, audience members will be invited on stage with the 492Korna Klub group to take on the role of a person in a difficult dilemma. The work explores how we deal with solutions to social problems, plus issues of empowerment and social cohesion.

Adam Fenton’s Painting Club, No Format Gallery, London
This group show brings together a number of artists, each exploring the ‘personality’ of painting. The result is a jam-packed exhibition that illustrates the continuing relevance of the medium in the 21st century. Artists include Ben Clarke, David Dellagi, Mark Edmonds, Adam Fenton, Fiona Long and Paula MacArthur, amongst others.

6@SouthLodge, St Leonards Gardens, St Leonards-on-Sea
This short group show is the result of a one-month residency by a collective of six female artists at South Lodge and St Leonard’s Gardens. Their site-inspired work responds to the intriguing history and playful architecture and landscape of the area. Featuring Lyn Dale, Nikki Davidson-Bowman, Louise Michele Evans, Marie Ford, Jules Mitchell and Katy Oxborrow.

Sotto Voce – Reflections From The Artists, Towner, Eastbourne
Networking events can be invaluable to any artist’s development. This particular session follows an ambitious exchange project involving artists from Italy and Sussex as part of the Sotto Voce Festival in Hastings this July. Festival director and producer Glenys Jacques will be joined by some of the artists who took part in the festival, with an opportunity to discuss the pros and cons of such events.

Regeneration City Blues, 55 Neal Street, Covent Garden, London
In this exhibition, Jane Palm-Gold explores the impact of regeneration by corporate multinationals on established shops, businesses and local grassroots creative and cultural activity. Featuring photographs, documents and press cuttings, she captures the threat to some of London’s historic music sites, such as Tin Pan Alley and the nearby Roxy club, once the home of punk.
