Dyma Gariad (fel y moroedd) / Here is a Love (deep as oceans)
A collection of works made over the past five years by Welsh artist Iwan Bala, exploring the spontaneity of the moment of writing. Bala’s elaborate and poetic compositions are collections of rapid attempts to put thoughts on paper (and beer mats and envelopes). Specifically, this body of work responds to June’s EU referendum vote, depicting satirical caricatures of principal players in the lead up to, and result of, Brexit.
Until 30 November 2016, The Esplanade, Penarth, Wales.

Fragile, David Anthony Hall
Images of landscapes are deliberately shown upside down in this exhibition by photographer David Anthony Hall. With the hope that the viewer contemplates and gets lost in the details of the work, the artist invites them to look beyond each image as a mere photograph to see every exposure as an echo of a moment in time. The exhibition references both the presentation of raw photographic prints as well as our relationship with the natural, yet ultimately changing, world.
Until 26 January 2017, 60 TNS, 60 Threadneedle Street, London, EC2R.
