Exchange: Now we are 7
‘Now we are 7’ is a collective of seven female artists who exhibit and devise projects together. All members of Eastbourne’s Blue Money Network, the artists take over the monthly event at Towner Art Gallery to present details of a long-term collaborative project that has seen each of them begin an artwork and pass it on so that it is changed by each member of the group. An exhibition of the collaboration will be at Martyrs Gallery in Lewes from 7-27 April 2018.
Wednesday 28 March 2018, Towner Art Gallery, Devonshire Park, College Road, Eastbourne BN21 4JJ.

Ancient Trees & the People of Epping Forest
Photographer Marion Sidebottom has been artist in residence in Epping Forest for the past year, exploring ‘how visual images can engage people’s interest in ancient trees and the forest’. With a degree in Rural Resource Development and a masters that explored history through tree photography, Sidebottom’s practice is rooted in ideas of ‘biophilia’ – of the innate tendency possessed by humans to seek connections with the natural world.
Until 2 April 2018, Gallery at the View Visitor Centre, 6 Rangers Road, London E4 7QH.
