Today, together with the amazing FayeMcNulty at the PrintAll studios, we tested some of the dies she prepared for the printing of the panels. As the fabric tends to stretch, and the conductive paint is rater brittle when dry, Faye has developed a wonderful mix of an elastic medium and different type of conductive materials, among which the Bare Electric Paint.

The final tests look amazing. We waited for them to dry, then Faye ‘baked’ them in the oven and I took them to my studio and tested their conductivity.

It is pretty exciting to be working in an area for which there aren’t any written rules, there is a pioneering feeling in all of this.

And yes, screenprinting takes such a long time, but the results can be pretty well rewarding.

As usual, good things come to those who wait.
